ChickQuest, a Classroom Journey Through the Life Cycle of Chickens, is a 4-H School Enrichment Program that challenges students to use Science, Engineering, and Technology to investigate the life cycle of an embryonic chicken egg. From monitoring living eggs to observing fluffy chicks, these lively activities pique curiosity, encourage collaboration and communication, and provide young scientists with unforgettable experiences. This program is sponsored by the United Soybean Board and the Ohio Soybean Council. During the session each teacher will receive over $500 worth of materials:

    • Teacher Guide
    • Science Log books—one per student in your classroom
    • incubator with turning tray
    • coupon for 12 fertilized eggs
    • kit that includes experiment supplies: spring scales, graduated cylinder, thermometer/hygrometer, etc.

This session will be repeated during Sessions 2, 3, 4 and 5 on Monday and Tuesday.
